AMERICA
America is located 85 km SSE from Copiapo and comprises 8.200 hectares of exploration claims.
Geology
-
Locally composed of volcanic andesite , dacite , tuff ), intruded by multiple intrusives (68 to 62 ma. U/Pb), porphyries (61,7 61,9 ma. U/Pb) and hydrothermal igneous breccias.
-
Overprinted by chlorite epidote halo, silica quartz clay sericite , tourmaline alteration.
-
Mineralization composed of jarosite goethite hematite , Ox. Cu traces. Distributed in stockwork veinlets and disseminate.
-
Hydrothermal system controlled by NW and NE fault breccias veins system
Drilling
-
A pyritic propylitic halo drilled

GEOLOGY
Cu-Mo Porphyry
-
Regionally located on the Honitos Formation (volcano sedimentary rocks), intruded by El Carrizo pluton (upper cretaceous sup. to lower palecene belt).
-
The southern edge of America extends to the Relincho paleocene deposit, with 1BT @ 0.5% CuEq (Mo).

-
Quartz veinlets system open to South East.
250m x 250m sampling grid; 251 samples (4 Acid Digestion + 48 elements by ICP + Au by Fire assay); Coverage area (1500 ha)
DRILLING
3.907,1 m. distributed in 9 drilholes (DDH), to confirm a hydrothermal system type porphyry (Cu Mo). The drilled zone is most quartz sericite environment. The target zone is open below 400m. depth, and fully open in SE direction .
-
The América porphyry system, is composed by multiple intrusive, porphyry, igneous and hydrothermal breccias events.
-
Early biotite-chlorite-Fk-Ep-Mag, overprinted by chlorite-sericite-biotite, sericite-qz-chlorite, clays-sericite alterations.
-
Almost 4 main mineralization events have been identified at date (early magnetite; very early molibdenite; early molibdenite-calcopirite-pirite, and pirite-calcopirite events).
